Going Forward After COVID

I often hear that ‘It is too late for me to start something like this’. I get it. We think that after 50, 60, 70 or 80 years on this earth, our bodies are set in their ways and it is true. Our bodies are set. Our muscles pull on our bones and the bones bend from the tension. After a while we start to tilt or limp to compensate. Then everyday it seems like something new is bothering us. We might even accept this as ‘just getting old’. I have the phrase that ‘It is never too late to start’. I do not let age dictate to me what I should do. While it is true that we age and our bodies change, we can help ourselves stay healthy and Yoga is one of the ways to do that. It takes effort and perseverence at first, like anything new, but after that, it is just maintenance. Adopt the mantra that ‘It is never to late to start”, and a whole new future will open up for you.
